Katherine Hightower, DC
Katie Hightower grew up in rural New Mexico and developed a love for sports and the outdoors at a young age. These interests led her down a path of helping people stay active and healthy to engage in the activities they enjoy.
She graduated magna cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2005. She has worked in private practice for the past 14 years, providing hands-on care to individuals of all ages in Southern Nevada.
Katie was inspired to bring her knowledge into the mainstream workplace after considering people’s need for a workspace that is adapted to them. Her goal is to empower people to understand their bodies and teach them how to harmonize their environment and bodies to decrease physical stressors and feel their best. Through workstation assessment, lifestyle assessment, education, and finally creating and executing a plan, her goal is to reach as many people as possible to help them identify and eliminate many causes of potential physical pain in their lives.
She is certified as a Remote Ergonomics Assessment Specialist and Advanced Office Ergonomics Assessment Specialist. She is also certified as a NASM-CPT, and in Functional Range Conditioning, Functional Range Release, kinesiology taping and Dynamic Taping.
Katie also has experience in the Worker’s Compensation realm, as she has been certified to conduct disability ratings in the state of Nevada for over a decade.
